Billy Kopp Finishes in 12th at 2009 WSOP Main Event

Once chip leader Billy Kopp was knocked out of the WSOP tournament today in dramatic fashion. On the hand he was eliminated, Kopp opened for $600,000 preflop and was called by Darvin Moon. On a flop of KD, 9D, 2D, Moon had first action and checked. He then called when Kopp bet $750,000. On the turn, 2H, Moon checked again and drew a bet of $2 million from Kopp. Moon then check-raised to $6 million. Next, Kopp moved all in for close to $20 million total. Moon called! Kopp:5D,3D Moon:JD,QD. Moon gets the higher flush and now is the overall chip leader and is currently in 1st place with nine people left.

Kopp finished the tournament in 12th place and made a dismal... $896,730! I don't think he'll be going back to UK, congrats!
