Billy Kopp, a Northern Kentucky resident and current student at the University of Kentucky, is currently in 7th place with $4,500,000 chips at the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event. To put this in retrospect, the average stack of remaining players currently stands at $1,928,910.
Kopp raised his chip count to his highest mark in the tourney at nearly $6,000,000 chips earlier tonight but has since lost a few chips.
After six days only 100 players remain in the main event which will be televised on ESPN at a later time.
Kopp will more than likely be at a feature table when the tournament airs on ESPN. The payout to the winner of this years event is $8,546,435.
