Let Pujols be the Hero

All eyes have been fixed on St. Louis this week with the MLB All-Star festivities taking place in the Gateway to the West. And the Cardinals have taken the opportunity to showcase their greatest talent, Albert Pujols. Pujols has been everywhere this week, from taking cuts at the Home Run derby to doing press with ESPN. And Albert is not disappointing so far. In his interviews he has stayed very humble and shown a higher knowledge of the game and a respect for its past. In an era where so many mega stars have been exposed as cheaters Albert Pujols continues to put up gaudy numbers without ever being tested positive for steroids. Of course there will be speculation, that is the culture that we live in now. But in a recent article with USA today Pujols stated that he would be tested every day for steroids and if he ever tested positive he would repay every dollar that the Cardinals organization has paid him throughout his career. I believe him. Pujols is very fun to watch at the plate, I really think kids should rally around this man who is a good father, good man, and a great baseball player. Check out the full story here.
