What is up with Bronson Arroyo?

Bronson Arroyo entered the month of June with a 7-3 record, his ERA has been rather high throughout the season but Arroyo was finding ways to win games which the Reds needed. Since then Arroyo has fallen to 8-7 and is now looking like a human batting tee.

I wonder if there is something wrong with Arroyo? He has noted that he has Carpal Tunnel syndrome which he claims is not affecting his pitching only his guitar playing. It leaves me curious if this really is hurting his pitching. Either way Arroyo has not been giving the Reds quality starts as of late and it is really beginning to become an issue.

Just to put this in perspective his 5.69 ERA is more than a point higher than our 5-man Michah Owings' 4.63 ERA. He's let up 5 or more runs in 8 of his 16 starts. Sorry but with this offense how do you expect us to win ballgames when you're letting up that many runs.

Also, when Volquez comes back what do you do? Bailey may deserve a shot to stay in the majors for longer than a couple spot starts and not to mention Justin Lehr has 11 wins and Matt Maloney is posting a 2.30 ERA in Louisville
