Cincinnati Reds 2009 Team Stats

Here are the most intriguing team stats:

Pitching
The Reds have the 9th best ERA in major league baseball at the moment with a 4.11 team ERA. If it wasn't for a couple Mike Lincoln blow-ups they could be in the top-5. Surprisingly enough the top-5 pitching clubs at the moment are the Pirates at the top followed by the Mariners, Cardinals, Royals, and A's.

Hitting
The Reds are 29th out of the 30 teams for team batting average at .235 a game, pathetic. They're also 24th in home runs, 27th in RBI's, but hey they're 10th in strikeouts.... It's funny because we used to be an incredible hitting team and would lead or would be at the top of the majors in home runs and RBI's on a consistent basis. Now we have good pitching, it would be nice to be good or at least mediocre at both.

Fielding
Currently rank 28th out of 30 teams in fielding percentage. 18 errors so far this season, that's almost one a game.
