* There are a lot of people who subscribe to the thought that there are no must win games in April. But I completely disagree, a win in April is the same as a win in August. If you don't win in April then your games don't mean anything in August. And with the Reds facing their longest road stand of the season, all of which are played against Division opponents, this 10 game stretch must be a positive road trip for the Redlegs. They open up tonight against Milwaukee, then only Houston and Chicago before returning to GABP.
* Last season the Reds were 10-8 against Milwaukee.
* The Reds will face their arch nemesis Roy Oswalt this week in Houston. Oswalt has played the Reds28 times in his career, and has a record of 23-1, with a 2.47 ERA.

Looking forward to Owings's first start. I want to see if he can come close to what he did for us this Spring. And, where is Dusty going to bat him in the lineup? He is no #9 hitter! I think I would put him in the #7 spot.
