Xavier News: Kevin Parrom Re-Opens Recruiting

Top 100 recruit , Kevin Parrom, has been granted his release from his national letter of intent to play for Xavier. Parrom, a 6'6 200 pound G/F from New York City now has Arizona listed as his top choice. Chris Mack met to speak with Parrom this past week and reports say talks went well. With Miller's departure and Emanuel Richardson, whom recruited Parrom not being added to new coach Chris Mack's staff I don't see him as a Muskie in the near future. This is a huge blow to Xavier as they now lose Parrom and could also lose Derrick Brown to the draft. The muskies incoming class now includes three guards in Mark Lyons, Jordan Crawford and Brian Walsh. Walsh could be used as a combo G/F but Mack needs to start working the recruiting mill for some bigs!
